Wide area networks are called as WAN. Like the LAN connection WAN is also a connection which is having a very good familiarity. Long distance transmission of data, voice, image and the video information can be done only if their exists a WAN connection. With the help of WAN connection data can be transferred to long distance within a short span of time.
