Network connection is nothing but the connection between the two devices in the proper manner. The name of the connection between the two devices is technically called as link. The link can be classified into two types. They are point to point and then multipoint. In the point to point link there is only one connection between the two ends. Side links are not allowed here. In multidrop there will be lot of interconnections between the devices.
